On-Site consultants will:

  • Help you recognize hazards in the workplace
  • Suggest general approaches or options for solving safety and health problems
  • Identify available sources of help if further assistance is needed
  • Provide you a written report summarizing findings
  • Assist you in developing and maintaining an effective safety and health program

On-site consultants will not:

  • Result in citations or penalties for violations of OSHA standards;
  • Guarantee that a workplace will pass an OSHA inspection; or
  • Result in violations being reported to OSHA enforcement staff (unless the employer refuses or fails to correct a hazard within an agreeable time frame)
