Overview
This PMP course will provide you with a deeper understanding of project management concepts and applications in the workplace. At the end of this course, you will be prepared to take the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification exam.
In this program, you’ll gain a better understanding of how to apply project management concepts and any variations between them. You will learn more advanced project management tasks, such as how to select projects and develop strategies for them, how to create a complex schedule model, and how to identify and assess any risks in the project. You’ll learn about statusing and forecasting, in addition to project recovery concepts, and project termination. This program meets or exceeds the educational requirements for those interested in the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. Students who are interested in earning the PMP credential must schedule and pay for testing on their own after program completion.

- Understand project proposals, definitions and selections
- Manage robust planning components and the Project Management Plan
- Fulfill project manager’s role during the project’s execution phase

- Meet or exceed the educational pre-requisites for the PMP certification
Prerequisites
Students enrolled in this program should have at least two years’ experience managing projects or complete the Essentials of Project Management program.
