Mississippi State University's Center for Continuing Education works for teachers, students, and staff!

Continuing Education Units for Teachers

Make your professional development count for CEUs! You can submit the courses, workshops, and/or professional activities that we offer to your school for Continuing Education Units.

These CEU courses were developed by instructors from MSU's College of Education and area experts to address current school issues on a variety of topics.  There are multiple options available: open-enrollment, self-paced, virtual or in-person.

2.4 Online CEU Courses

2.4 CEU’s available for $125

Our 24-hour online professional development courses are comprised of 12 lessons, released every Monday and Wednesday, over 6 weeks. Once released, lessons are accessible for the duration of the class, from anywhere, at any time. There is a discussion area for each lesson for you to post questions to the instructor. 

self-paced option is available for most courses!  Each lesson will take, on average, 2 hours to complete. Lessons are printer friendly and downloadable.

After passing the final exam, a Mississippi State University CEU certificate will be sent upon request. The class equals a total of 24 instructional hours/2.4 CEUs, unless otherwise noted.

 

High school online courses

Students can enroll any time in our online, self-paced courses to meet graduation requirements.  All instructors are licensed, and courses have been approved by the Mississippi Department of Education.
